SFTP Server

The GoAnywhere SFTP Server provides a secure environment for your trading partners to exchange files with your organization. SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) is a popular communications standard which protects all sensitive data that flows over the connection including user IDs, passwords and commands.

Enhanced Security and Scalability

The GoAnywhere Services Secure FTP server supports the popular SFTP, SCP, FTPS and HTTPS protocols. GoAnywhere Services can be installed and configured quickly through a browser-based interface, which provides for remote administration and monitoring. You can install GoAnywhere SFTP Server in the private network without opening inbound ports when paired with GoAnywhere Gateway in the DMZ. GoAnywhere can be placed in a cluster for load balancing and redundancy to ensure high availability for your trading partners. Several authentication methods are supported including GoAnywhere users and passwords, Active Directory (AD), LDAP and SSH key authentication.

Extensive Management and Auditing

The SFTP Server in GoAnywhere Services provides you with granular security controls including file and folder permissions, password policies, disk quotas, time-of-day restrictions, IP whitelists and blacklists. Keep in compliance with database-driven audit logs of all SFTP sessions. Extensive details are logged including user ids, commands issued, date and timestamps, file names, file sizes and IP addresses. The log messages can additionally be sent to a SYSLOG server over UDP or TCP connections. The extensive controls and audit trails will help your organization to comply with PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA and state privacy laws.

Advanced Features for the Enterprise

Event triggers can automatically process files when they are downloaded or uploaded from a partner, such as send an email alert or call a custom program. An intuitive web client interface allows for simple ad-hoc file transfers through a browser over the secure HTTPS protocol.  Users can also send large files securely right from Microsoft Outlook using a plugin or through a secure web form.
