Triggers
Triggers can be defined in GoAnywhere Services™ to monitor for certain events, such as when a file is uploaded or downloaded by a trading partner. Based on the user-defined trigger settings, GoAnywhere Services™ can run a variety of processes.
For instance, when a file is uploaded by a trading partner, an email notification can be sent to one or more users indicating the trading partner account and file name. As another example, when a file is downloaded by a trading partner, a GoAnywhere Director™ Project can be executed to archive the file to another folder.
From the Trigger Manager screen you can create and manage Triggers, as well as view the logs of when Triggers have executed.

GoAnywhere Services can be installed onto Windows, Linux, IBM System i, IBM System p (AIX), IBM System z (Mainframe), UNIX, HP-UX, Mac OS and Solaris platforms. System i is also referred to as iSeries, as400, as/400 and i5.
