XML Read
GoAnywhere can read data from XML documents using a variety of user-specified options:
- Parse multi-level XML documents
- Schema or DTD validation
- Header/Detail support
- Specify field names and types
- Data trim options
- Formatting options for dates and numbers
- Null substitute values
- Skip invalid records
- Pass in variables (at runtime) to override attributes
The data read from XML documents can be imported into one or more database tables. XML data can also be translated into other formats including Excel, delimited text and fixed-width formats.
GoAnywhere Director can be installed onto IBM System i, IBM System p (AIX), IBM System z (Mainframe), Windows, Linux, UNIX, HP-UX, Mac OS and Solaris platforms. System i is also referred to as iSeries, as400, as/400 and i5.
