Audit Logs

Completed Jobs Each execution of a Project (file transfer) is considered a "Job" and is assigned a unique job number (tracking number). Every Job generates an audit log, which is stored centrally in GoAnywhere Director.  A web-based screen is provided that allows authorized users to quickly view the completed Job statuses and their audit logs.  Jobs can be searched by Project name, Job number, date range, user and completion status (e.g. Failed, Successful, Cancelled).

For each Job listed, this screen will show the job number, Project name, the user that submitted the job, and the completion status.  It will also show the dates/times in which each job was submitted, started and completed.

From the Completed Jobs screen, authorized users can drill down into the log detail for each job. The amount of detail shown in each job log is controlled by settings in its corresponding Project definition.

Job log results can also be exported to a CSV file, which can then be shared with other applications such as Excel. Log messages can additionally be sent to a Syslog server using UDP or TCP connections.

GoAnywhere Director can be installed onto Windows, Linux, IBM i, AIX (pSeries), UNIX, HP-UX, Mac OS and Solaris platforms.  IBM i is also referred to as System i, iSeries, as400, as/400 and i5.
