File transfers and workflows (Projects) can be executed using a variety of methods in GoAnywhere Director.
Projects can be scheduled to run at future dates and times using GoAnywhere Director's built-in Scheduler or you can use your existing scheduler. Projects can also be executed when a file monitor detects new, modified or deleted file(s) in targeted folders.
Projects can additionally be called from local and remote command lines, scripts and programs using the provided Commands and APIs. Within GoAnywhere Director's browser-based Administrator, users can also execute Projects (which they are authorized to) with a click of the mouse.

GoAnywhere Director
can execute multiple Projects concurrently with its multi-threaded architecture and ability to queue jobs.

Projects can be executed in Debug mode, which allows users to interactively execute tasks one step at a time. At each stopping point, the values for the variables can be viewed or changed before the next task is executed.

GoAnywhere Director can be installed onto Windows, VMware, Linux, IBM i, AIX (pSeries), UNIX, HP-UX, Mac OS and Solaris platforms.  IBM i is also referred to as System i, iSeries, as400, as/400 and i5.
